Penny has been in the health and wellness field for over 25 years. She has always had a curiosity and love for the human body and its capabilities. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Diploma in Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) and Diploma in Natural Nutrition (CHNC). Her most recent education training is as a Certified Metabolic Balance Coach. Penny has a keen interest in sports and is a classically trained vocalist. She is born and raised in Calgary Alberta and lives with her common-law partner and has 3 almost grown sons that she is super proud of. Her second home is at the family cabin in the mountains of BC.

It is the study of the root or roots. To Penny, this means finding the root cause of a person’s imbalances in various body systems. If you want the best quality of health, it is important to get to the root cause of your health issues.
Penny’s wellness therapy is rooted in science-based education. She has taken many courses like biology, physiology, psychology, biomechanics, chemistry, anatomy, and pathology that are all rooted in making connections with all the body systems that affect our overall health and wellness. The recommendations and treatments that she provides for clients are sound and well-researched.
The study of roots can mean that Penny helps you discover how to be rooted and grounded in this world. Being present daily with our life is powerful. Living from a grounded place helps us make appropriate decisions and choices in our life.
Rooted in nourishment is a focus in Penny’s wellness therapy. She offers recommendations and support in the importance of eating whole foods first. Eating in a way that nourishes each biochemically unique individual is important.
