Maya Atsiz is a Certified Natural Health Practitioner, Reiki Master, Shamanic Practitioner and Soul Painter. She is a free spirit, who loves traveling, experiencing life fully and continually growing and learning.
She was born in Munich and spent the first twelve years of her life there, before moving to Istanbul for three years. Thereafter, she moved to Canada where she has lived in Toronto and Waterloo, where she is currently at.
Maya has always been drawn to nature, healing and meditation, even as a child. She was introduced to meditation and the concept of Reiki at an early age, but it wasn’t until 2013 that she decided to get certified, which opened Pandora’s box of healing modalities for her.
Art has been one of her other passions, which started the second she could pick up a pencil. Having come from an artistic family, she got the benefits of being raised amongst artists of all mediums as well as writers and teachers. This gave her a solid basis to intertwine her ancestral talents as artist and teacher, as she begins to step into teaching roles, as well as focusing more on her writing skills.
She joined the Holistic Program at Transformational Arts College in Toronto and learned an array of different modalities such as Subtle Aromatherapy, Medical Intuition, Bach Flower remedies, Holistic Nutrition, Homeopathy, Lymphatic Drainage Massage, Sound Healing, Colour Therapy, Vibrational Arts and Chakra-Balancing to name a few.
She also has a BA in Art and Art History from the University of Guelph.
Her goal as an energy practitioner is to guide others through the dissolution of blockages hindering their journey and assist them in removing lower vibrational habits and detrimental, patterned thinking. She feels that empowering others and creating sacred space for their healing is vital and hopes to offer healing that occurs on personal, societal and ancestral levels.
